How it works4 steps
Swaps compares buy routes by final receive amount, provider requirements, payment method, country, and live availability. Pay with credit card, bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other supported payment methods where provider coverage is available.
- Choose your crypto — USDC, USDT, ETH, BTC or SOL
- Select payment method — the ways your country has: card, bank transfer or a local way such as UPI, QRIS or QR Ph
- Compare live routes — review final receive amount, costs, and checkout requirements side by side
- Complete purchase — continue through the selected provider checkout and receive crypto after provider execution
Why buy crypto on Swaps3 points
- Non-custodial — Your wallet signing credentials remain yours; provider routes have separate fund-control rules.
- Compare eligible provider routes — review final receive amount, costs, and checkout requirements
- Swaps fee by route — 1% Swaps fee on Bridge bank routes; a share for Swaps inside the provider's price on Transak and Onmeta routes; none on Stripe routes; provider pricing, spread, payment-method costs, and network costs also apply
FAQ
Questions.
How many cryptocurrencies does Swaps support?
Five you can buy: USDC, USDT, ETH, BTC and SOL. Sell USDC, USDT or USDB to a bank account in your name.
Which crypto should I buy first?
We can't offer financial advice, but Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are the most established cryptocurrencies by market cap, adoption, and track record. Bitcoin is often called "digital gold," while Ethereum powers the largest smart contract ecosystem. Consider your goals and risk tolerance before investing.
What's the difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum?
Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency with a hard cap of 21 million coins — primarily used as a store of value. Ethereum is a programmable blockchain that powers smart contracts, DeFi protocols, NFTs, and stablecoins like USDC and DAI. Bitcoin is simpler and more conservative; Ethereum is more flexible and supports a wider ecosystem.
Are stablecoins like USDC and USDT safe?
Stablecoins are pegged 1:1 to fiat currencies (usually USD). USDC is issued by Circle, with monthly attestations of its reserves. Circle says each USDC is backed by cash and cash-equivalent assets. USDT (Tether) is the largest stablecoin by volume and is widely used across exchanges. Both are useful for trading, remittances, and savings — but each carries issuer risk distinct from holding the underlying fiat.
How do I buy crypto for the first time?
Choose the cryptocurrency you want, select your payment method, compare eligible provider routes, and continue through the selected provider checkout. Crypto goes to your wallet address after provider execution.
What payment methods can I use?
It depends on your country. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay go through Transak in 22 countries; bank transfers through Bridge: ACH and wire, SEPA, Faster Payments, PIX, SPEI and Bre-B; UPI, QRIS and QR Ph through Onmeta. Available methods depend on your region.
Is buying crypto on Swaps safe?
The provider sends crypto to the wallet address you enter, and Swaps does not hold your wallet keys. Your wallet signing credentials remain yours; execution and control of funds depend on the provider or payment-contract route. The selected provider owns payment processing, verification, and execution, so review the live quote and provider checkout before funds move.
What are the fees?
Fees vary by provider, payment method, country, asset, and network. Bridge bank routes carry a 1% Swaps fee. On card and local-payment routes (Transak, Onmeta) the provider's price includes a share for Swaps; Stripe routes include none. The Bridge fee is shown on its own line before you pay and on Bridge's receipt, and the amount shown is always what you receive. Provider pricing, spread, payment-method costs, and network costs still apply and are shown in the live quote or provider checkout before funds move.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Providers handle their verification. Swaps may process outcomes, compliance correspondence and documents submitted through its channels. Requirements vary by country, payment method, and transaction amount. Most card purchases require some form of verification.
Can I buy crypto without creating an account?
No. Comparing never needs an account. Paying does, so your order and receipt stay in one place.
Can I swap between any two tokens?
Not today. Swapping is paused on Swaps while we rebuild it; buying and selling work.
What is the minimum amount to buy crypto?
It depends on the provider, the way to pay and your country: the widget shows the minimum when an amount is below it. Minimums may vary by provider, payment method, and country.
